BLOVIATOR-IN-CHIEF

In his column today, Bill Press wrote: “On his radio show, right-wing bloviator Rush Limbaugh told listeners he disagreed with fellow Republicans "who have caved in and who say, well, I hope he succeeds." Not me, countered Limbaugh. "I hope he fails."

Limbaugh’s comment is the clearest revelation I have seen of just how twisted right-wing ideologues have become.

If Obama fails, the country fails.

Blowhards like Limbaugh are so intent on defending their warped ideologies they would rather see the country fail, than for liberals to get credit for saving it. It sounds like a variant of the right-wing rationale for Vietnam: “Destroy the country in order to save it.”

When is the Right going to wake up and ditch this pompous, drug-addled traitor?
